Her insightful songs and heartwarming style have won her a national following and gigs at such prestigious venues as NPR's Mountain Stage, the Kerrville Folk Festival Mainstage and the Kennedy Center; she was also featured in Yoga Journal for her work with sound and yoga. A Day In The GardenSaturday, March 24 10am - 3pm in KerrvilleJoin us on the first Saturday of Spring at the Hill Country Sculpture & Meditation Garden in Kerrville from 10am - 3pm. Treat yourself to this relaxing day in the Hill Country. (You might consider sharing a ride with a friend, too). The cost for the one day mini-retreat day is $40. Hosts Willie McDaniel & Lana Book will donate the proceeds from this day to the Circle, as they have for several years. Enjoy guided meditation, music, poetry, gentle yoga (no experience necessary), and a walk through the gardens. Pack a brown bag lunch, and drinks and light dessert will be provided. Come add your energy, simply by being present, as you join us for the Wednesday Meditation Circle. We meet each Wednesday from 7:30-8:30pm at the San Antonio Quaker Meetinghouse, located at 7052 N. Vandiver, SA, TX 78209, at Eisenhauer Rd., two blocks west of Austin Hwy. Experience a peaceful blend of guided meditation and sacred silence in one of the most beautiful spaces in San Antonio. Sessions are typically led by Rudi, with guitar, Native American flute, and Tibetan singing bowls. Suitable for beginning and experienced meditators alike; all are welcome. Love offerings to support our use of this amazing space are gratefully accepted. |
