Council of Stewards 2010

Are you passionate about the Celebration Circle? Do you have a background in non-profit work, fundraising, or experience as a Board Member? If so, we're looking for you! The Celebration Circle is always in need of talented, committed folks willing to help us steward this incredible organization.

Here's what it takes to be a Council Member:

• Show up for all council meetings (2+ hrs. month)
• Attend/chair at least one committee meeting (1+ hr. month)
• Maintain phone and email communication in a timely fashion
• Attend council retreat (1 weekend/yr.)
• Participate actively in dialogue about issues during meetings
• Communicate with respect, open-heartedness, and understanding of the consensus process
• Support and lead giving in the Giving Circle by pledging a donation that's a stretch for you
• Act as oversight for Directors/Staff
• Be a community leader in the Circle
• Be an ambassador to the wider community on behalf of the Circle
